Rush Hour

Put your foot on the gas and floor it. Welcome to Rush, a new fast-paced 3v3 queued mode for CS2. Experience the push and pull as you advance through a gauntlet of randomly-selected battle arenas, and dominate your opponent to win the match! Make the most of your limited budget and precious time to clear the objective. Control the tower when you eliminate the enemy team (or time expires) to win the round. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/4ccfe4f44119ac6ddd5cd39d24c907dd11f4c70a.png Run the gauntlet of battle arenas to capture the enemy castle and win the match. The battle arenas are randomly selected each time you play, so no two matches are the same. Keep track of your wins and compete for bragging rights with the Rush friends leaderboard! Pick, Pick Pick, Pick We think that if you spend a lot of time developing strategies on a map, you should have a chance to benefit from that investment. So today we're changing the process for getting into a map in Premier--instead of banning down to a single map, teams will vote to pick two maps each. After all four maps are picked, a single map will be randomly selected and the match will begin. Change You Can See Today's update also includes several quality of life improvements, starting with blood and bullet impact visiblity. Blood is now much more bloody, and bullet impacts are far more impacty. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/22559f46380abfdad669fbbebfb02f50149fb1a2.png But wait, there's more! Crosshairs have gotten a significant upgrade with new shapes and other features, so check out the new Crosshair/Scopes settings and create the custom crosshair of your dreams. Also, Clan Tags are back! Select one of your Steam Groups in your player profile and you'll see your clan tag appear next to your name wherever you play. Change You Can't See (or Hear) There are some gameplay adjustments in today's update to add a bit of stealth to your game-time decisions. Reloading can now be performed silently (by holding the reload key), but with a cost--silent reloads take quite a bit longer. And for those of you who love scoping your scoped weapons, you'll now be perfectly silent when you unscope, as nature intended. Starjunk 95 https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/602718694f8ef8a7d4adce9f2db208286af6b37f.png There's a new Music Kit in town, featuring the sounds of Starjunk 95.

Cologne 2026: Ranked Series

https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/81b4cf3f2d2130bd4aed48bad3d2d5e5ee061756.png Today we're shipping the Ranked Series of Cologne 2026 Major stickers--new stickers that indicate a team's final standing in the design. As with all items in the Cologne 2026 Shop, 50% of the royalties support the teams, players and tournament organizer. The original dynamic pricing system determined the relative interest in players and teams, but it didn't produce reasonable prices. So the Ranked stickers have a lower price, but with the same relationship between players and teams as the Event Series stickers (as of today's update). Check out the new stickers and support your favorite players and teams! The Cologne 2026 Shop will be available until September 29th.

Now, when the bomb detonates, an explosive wave of destruction will flow from the bombsite through the map. As before, if you're too close to the bomb when it explodes, you're toast--but the shockwave dissipates around corners and doesn't go through walls, so at a certain distance you can use your wits to survive. Or, if you're not confident your wits are up to the task, check your health bar which will flash a preview of how well you'll fare after the blast. Counter-Strike 2 might be the biggest game on Steam, but Global Offensive is breaking player count records since it went standalone again

nytime you're talking about the hottest game on Steam, there's an evergreen unspoken caveat: 'after Counter-Strike, of course.' CS2 is unquestionably Steam's killer app—it has well over a million concurrent players as I write this according to SteamDB, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. But don't count out the game it once absorbed and then spat out: its predecessor, Global Offensive... Read more.

IEM Cologne 2026

The IEM Cologne 2026 Major is fast approaching. Teams are making final adjustments, fine-tuning their strats, and crossing their fingers that they won't face Vitality until the Grand Final. That can only mean one thing: Tournament Items featuring Teams and Player Autographs are now available for purchase! The 2026 Cologne Major Shop https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/8f7212f18c038fcecaa6c96cfeb9785f14d74489.png The Major Shop has undergone some major renovation--now you can directly get any sticker you want (at prices set by demand). Holo Furia logo? You got it. Foil Donk autograph? No problem. You can purchase tokens and redeem them for any sticker you want. The prices of stickers will depend on relative demand (when lots of players buy a particular sticker, its price goes up and other sticker prices go down), but if you're worried that a sticker might drop in price right after you buy it, we've got you covered. If a sticker price drops by more than 25 tokens within 24 hours of your purchase you'll get a refund of tokens for the total difference. Details about the Major Shop renovation and how this all works can be found in the FAQ below. Souvenir-O-Matic https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/8b98a1ee99bd0178265c42624a4ee8d41ac91768.png What will you bring to the signing session? Now you can craft your own Souvenir! Take any normal or Souvenir quality weapon in your inventory and select a completed match and one of the players. You'll get your weapon back in Souvenir quality with gold team, autograph, and map stickers applied. Pick'Em https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/3381077/b50091a00523a82121c1e9707ca7a92276d21349.png Purchase and activate a Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass, and you'll receive a 2026 Cologne Major Challenge Coin. Play the Pick'Em Challenge to upgrade your Challenge Coin from Bronze to Silver, Gold, or Diamond and with each upgrade you'll get 300 tokens that you can redeem for the stickers or souvenirs of your choice. Supporting the Teams As with previous Majors, 50% of the tournament item sales are shared with the Tournament Organizer, Teams, and Players. But this time the royalty rates depend on performance. Between now and the end of the Major royalty rates for token sales are based on the teams' VRS seeding, and after the Major the royalty rates will be based on the Major final standings. The breakdown is in the FAQ, below. So clear your schedule and tune in, as the Major returns to the Cathedral of Counter-Strike! FAQ Q. Why aren't you selling capsules? In the past we shipped team and player autograph stickers in capsules. While this approach was popular, we've heard feedback that players might prefer to purchase stickers directly. Additionally, players in certain regions cannot purchase sticker capsules. So we're exploring alternatives that allow all players to participate. Q. How do I get tournament items? Add any sticker or stickers you like to your cart, and check out. To complete your transaction, first you'll purchase and activate tokens, and then redeem those tokens for your sticker. Sticker purchases are final and cannot be refunded. If you cancel your transaction before activating your tokens, those tokens _can_ be refunded. If you cancel your transaction after activating your tokens, the tokens will remain in your balance (and cannot be refunded) but you can redeem them for something else. Q. How are sticker prices set? The prices of all stickers depend on relative demand. This means that if one sticker is purchased disproportionately more than another, its price will go up and the other sticker's price will go down. After a large number of stickers are sold, all sticker prices will update (you'll get a warning if you're shopping when this is about to happen). The prices in tokens you see are the same prices for everyone worldwide. Q. Why do I have to purchase tokens? Tokens are a little less convenient than just paying for stickers outright. But the reality is that if stickers could be refunded after being purchased, then the sticker prices would not accurately represent real demand. Q. Can I pre-purchase tokens? No. Tokens are only purchased when you're buying stickers and do not already have enough tokens in your balance. In that case, you'll be asked to purchase the exact number of tokens required (minimum 100, which is $0.99 USD) to complete your transaction. Q. What if the sticker price goes down after I redeem my tokens? If the price of any redeemed sticker decreases by 25 tokens or more within the next 24 hours, we'll automatically issue you a refund of tokens for the difference between your redemption price and the lowest price in that period. Refunds are automatically credited to your tokens balance after one week. Q. How do souvenirs work this time? Take any weapon of normal or souvenir quality in your inventory and select a completed match and one of the players from that match. You'll permanently convert that weapon into a Souvenir with gold team, autograph, and map stickers applied. You will have a chance to see a preview of your souvenir before you complete your purchase. If the weapon had any existing stickers, they will be removed before you craft your souvenir. Q. How are souvenir prices determined? Souvenir prices are determined by two factors: the demand for the specific gold team and autograph stickers involved, and the rarity of the weapon you choose for your souvenir. Q. How are royalties shared among the tournament organizer, teams and players? 50% of total Major Shop and Major Pass revenue is shared as royalties with the tournament organizer, teams, and players. The chart below shows how that 50% is distributed. Note that for each team position, half of the royalties are shared with the team organization, and the other half is split equally among the five players. Between now and the grand final, royalties are shared based on the teams' global VRS leading into the event. After the grand final, royalties will be shared based on the final standings. Counter-Strike 2 Update

\Increased the maximum countdown-after-elimination time from 7 seconds to 14 seconds on end rooms and Convoy. The countdown-after-elimination time does not activate in cases where an entire team dies to suicides, team kills, and/or disconnects.Warmup time once all players have connected, freeze time, and technical timeout time are all reduced.Various gap fixes and clipping adjustments.\Some additional information about the new crosshair system:The new crosshair thickness and length units are in pixels. In the past, the values were defined with an arbitrary scale and converted to pixels based on display resolution so the same value would result in different pixel counts at different resolutions. With the new settings, if you want a 1-pixel wide crosshair with a bar length of 8 pixels and a gap of 4 pixels, then you would set: thickness = 1, length = 8, and gap = 4. Please be aware that the new crosshair system automatically rescales pixel counts when the display resolution changes. For example, if a crosshair was configured at display resolution 1280x720 with a thickness of 2 pixels and then the display resolution changes to 2560x1440, it will now automatically rescale the thickness to 4 pixels so that it remains proportionally the same as when it was configured.Added option to draw half-outlines. This will only draw the top-left portions of the outline for a crosshair.Fixed a bug preventing 0 gap width from being respected.Added a static square crosshair styleReduced the minimum dynamic spread distance to 64 pixels. The new dynamic crosshair styles will show you the real weapon spread and inaccuracy and the 'Dynamic Spread Limit' setting is a limit on how far the crosshair will spread at maximum inaccuracy and spread. There is a baseline spread distance of 64 pixels which covers the weapons with the largest spread so that players can better understand how accurate they actually are with their equipped weapon.\Fixed a case where left-handed viewmodels would animate incorrectly while silent reloading.Fixed a case where thirdperson player models would animate too fast while silent reloading.Fixed a case where firstperson Dual Berettas would animate incorrectly while reloading.Clan tags now appear in death notices.
